Taking your child to the dentist for the first time need not be stressful.  As a pediatric dentist, let me explain a few things about our office that are designed to reduce fears.  We emphasize a non-threatening and friendly environment.  We use an open concept in the operatory instead of small separate rooms.  We avoid using drugs to control behavior - instead we gain trust and rapport with children, and then relatively difficult procedures can be done painlessly and easily.
